Canada’s leading trainer, Rene Allard, added three more wins to his 2009 record on Friday night at Flamboro Downs

Allard teamed with drivers Scott Zeron and J.R. Plante during the 12-race program for his three triumphs.
First, Zeron guided Artistry In Rhythm, a seven-year-old Real Desire mare owned by Allard, Anne O’keefe of Ferryland, Nfld. and Ferme Bureau Et Fils Senc of Saint-Leonard, Que., to a four length victory in 1:56.2 in the third race.
Plante gave Allard back-to-back wins with the six-year-old Dream Vacation gelding Critic Vacation, who scored in 2:00.3 for co-owners Isaac Waxman and Brenda Selwyn Waxman of Dundas, Ont.
Zeron and Perle Duharas later captured the eighth race by seven and three-quarter lengths in 1:56.1 for Allard and co-owners Robert Cloutier of Montreal and Ferme Bureau Et Fils Senc.
Allard’s training triple bumped his yearly win total to 284. He now leads in the national trainer’s standings by 93 victories.
