Imjustalittleguy found his way to victory lane for the 12th time this season thanks to an impressive 1:56.2 in Thursday’s $12,100 Preferred Pace at Rideau Carleton Raceway.

In rein to trainer Ted McDonald, Imjustalittleguy sprinted the field through panels of :27.4, :58.2 and 1:28 before kicking home in :28.2 to seal the deal in a time of 1:56.2.

Race favourite Leader Bayama sat a pocket trip and finished second while Best Show In Town rounded out the top three in the nine-horse affair.

Lloyd Stone of Portland, ON holds the papers on the six-year-old gelded son of Armbro Operativ, who has banked $177,497 to date.

Trainer/driver Ted McDonald did plenty of winning on the Thursday evening program. In addition to winning the feature race, he also scored with Imjustalittleguy’s stablemates Wobbly Legs (1:56), Ja El Blue Bayou (1:58.4) and Poncho Villa (1:59.2).
