On Friday, Dec. 17, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) released the second round of approved 2022 race dates for a selection of Ontario racetracks.
In accordance with the recommendations of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) and Ontario Racing, the Registrar issued the 2022 Race Date Schedules for the following Standardbred tracks:
• Dresden Raceway - 11 days - View Race Date Schedule
• Flamboro Downs - 132 days - View Race Date Schedule
• Georgian Downs - 39 days - View Race Date Schedule
• Rideau Carleton Raceway - 73 days - View Race Date Schedule
The second round came two days removed from the first set of race date announcements on Wednesday (Dec. 15) with dates firmed up for Clinton Raceway, Grand River Raceway, Hanover Raceway, Hiawatha Horse Park & Entertainment Centre, Kawartha Downs and The Raceway at the Western Fair District.
Dates for 2022 have yet to be announced for Woodbine Mohawk Park or Leamington Raceway.
