Itrustyou sailed through the slop and never had an anxious moment as he captured Tuesday’s $18,000 Winners Over $10,000 Life/Preferred Handicap Pace at The Meadows for his third straight victory.
Dave Palone gave Itrustyou a first half in a comfortable 58.4, effectively ending the race for win. The five-year-old Third Straight-Dynamic Lady gelding scored in 1:54.3 over the rallying Windsong Jack, delivering trainer Ron Burke an exacta sweep. The first-over PL Dragon was third.
Burke Racing Stable LLC, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and RTC Stables own Itrustyou, who now boasts $561,196 in career earnings.
Palone drove four winners — three for Burke — on the 16-race card while Brett Miller enjoyed a triple.
