A 55-1 winner name Deadly Action captured Thursday evening’s final race at Woodbine Racetrack, and despite his jaw-dropping odds there were multiple winners in the Jackpot Hi 5 yet again.

Scott Coulter rallied the Colin Johnson-trained son of Art Major to the come-from-behind tally over the 4-5 favourite, Hughgetthecredit. Putnams Legacy (31-1), Mr Match On Beach (2-1) and Futomaki (12-1) rounded out the bottom of the Jackpot Hi 5 ticket. The combination of numbers 1-2-4-6-7 returned $7,579.20 for a $1 wager.

Multiple winning tickets on the combination means fans will be treated to a staggering carryover of $510,899.49 on Friday evening’s Jackpot Hi 5 wager. Click here for Friday’s past performance program.

The wager will be offered until the conclusion of the Saturday, December 17th program at which point the Jackpot Hi 5 will be held over until the December 23rd card. There will be a mandatory payout in effect during that card of racing.
