On Tuesday, December 14, just one day after winning the rights to the last harness racing license in the State of Pennsylvania, American Harness Tracks LLC and Merit Management started getting down to business

According to an article by the Beaver County Times, representatives from each company got together to begin to move forward on the proposed racino and entertainment centre.
Merit Management CFO Joe Canfora has been cited as saying that financing for the project won’t be a problem with any proposal if his company is involved.
The report also states that the discussion also included representatives from the investment firm Och-Ziff, which controls more than $27 billion in assets
