Three-year-old pacing fillies trained by Kelly Hoerdt were a sure bet on Friday night (December 14) at Fraser Downs.
The veteran horseman won all four races in which his sophomore trainees competed, and even produced a 1-2 finish mid-card.
Returning to the scene of her Penny Bath Memorial Stakes score this past spring, Cusdmagicdragon ($12.90) provided Hoerdt with his first Friday night victory in the second race before Lively Rocket ($7.20) held off stablemate Northfield Nellie in the sixth race. Noisy Nora ($2.90) prevailed by a head in the following race for her third straight victory then Blue Grotto ($5.10) capped off Hoerdt's big night winning the ninth race.
Hoerdt, who sits fourth in the 2018 Fraser trainer standings through December 15 and ranks second on the Century Downs and Northlands Park leaderboards, has won 93 races overall this year.
