Trailing by five and a half lengths at the half, Unefoisdansmavie unleashed a sustained bid that carried her to victory in Wednesday’s $20,000 Filly & Mare Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows.

Unefoisdansmavie was still four lengths behind at the top of the stretch when she found another gear for Dave Palone and overtook Victory Is Coming, who broke stride near the wire, to triumph in 1:58.2 over a sloppy, tiring surface. Bessie and Wendys Girl were promoted to second and third, respectively.

Ron Burke trains Unefoisdansmavie, a nine-year-old daughter of Revenue S-Peace To The World who now boasts $648,649 in career earnings, for Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and Jack Piatt III.

Aaron Merriman and Palone each collected three wins on the 14-race card.
