Owners George, Garett, and Tara Isman are pleased to announce that Major Hottie, the world record holder for a free-legged pacer, will stand for stallion duty in Alberta.
Major Hottie (p,5,1:48.3s; $769,718) is the fastest free-legged pacer in harness racing history by virtue of his lifetime mark taken at Mohawk Racetrack.
By super-sire Art Major (1:48.4, $3,273,217), and out of the dam Dominatricks (1:52.3, $400,199), Major Hottie displayed speed throughout his racing career. He paced 25 sub-1:50 miles, including miles under 1:50 in each of six years from ages three to nine.
Major Hottie will stand at Equistar Vet Services in Spruce Grove, Alta., for an introductory stud fee of $1,250.
