Ryan Ellis inched closer to another driving title at Truro Raceway by winning one-third of the card on Sunday.
Ellis recorded a hat-trick on Sunday afternoon, picking up wins aboard Barrett Jackson in Race 4 and Gwinning Gwen in Race 6 before closing the meet in the winner's circle along with Bakardi Arti in Race 9.
The three wins on Sunday's card padded Ellis' meet-leading total to 54 wins, well ahead of Paul Langille's 36 and Danny Romo with 35.
While Truro's meet was originally set to conclude on Sunday, the track has two more cards left in the 2014: Sunday, December 21 and Sunday December 28.
