The four-year-old Cams Card Shark mare was strung out a bit on the first turn by Gordyyys Pet (Eric Goodell) before assuming complete control of the pace, pressed to a :27.3 quarter before rating an unopposed :57.1 half-mile. Up the backstretch, Showherthemoney faced minimal pressure, staving off a first-over challenge from Southwind Swallow (Tim Tetrick) with a :55 last half, sprinting home by 2-1/2 lengths in 1:52.1. Southwind Swallow stayed on to be second, while Telemecanique N (David Miller) followed steady cover to earn show honours.

Shacked Up ($2.80) was the fastest division winner in the Industrial Highway series, rallying from just off the pace to win in 1:52 under Eric Goodell, while Ideal Newton ($5.60) prevailed in rein to Tim Tetrick in 1:52.2 in the third division.

The third round of the Exit 8 trotting series saw four $20,000 divisions go to post, and Lenore Fazio's Syenite ($2.40) turned in yet another dominant performance, heading to next week's $50,000 final off a 5-1/2 length victory under Tim Tetrick, tying Hoboken Sonny ($20.00, Matt Kakaley) for the Exit 8 speed mark on the day of 1:54.4. Of two $20,000 splits of the Flower Street for trotting fillies and mares, Pembroke Heat Wave ($3.00) was fastest, scoring in 1:56.1 under Yannick Gingras by a handy 2-1/2 lengths. D Lee More ($10.60) took her division in 1:57.1 off a pocket trip, with David Miller at the helm.

Preliminary Road to Riches action concludes on tomorrow's card, with the Harrah's Boulevard trotting series and the Northeast Extension distaff pacing series co-headlining the 14-race program. First post will be 12:45 p.m. eastern time.
