Dr J. Stallion Management has announced the launch of its Marketplace service.
Found under the "Marketplace" tab on the website drjstallionmanagement.com, the Marketplace is designed to be a site where sellers and purchasers can come together to sell and buy breeding stock and racehorses without the high commissions usually attached to such transactions.
Offerings currently listed on the site include shares in the 2023 Breeders Crown winner Gem Quality, the broodmare Twin B Dream Girl (in foal to Stay Hungry), a share of Tattoo Artist and 2024 breedings to Betting Line, Lazarus N and Pebble Beach.
“Dana [Parham] and I hope that the Marketplace has a useful place in the world of selling and buying horses online," said Dr. Bridgette Jablonsky. "For racehorses, broodmares, weanlings and yearlings, there will be a nominal flat advertisement rate and all communication will be between seller and interested potential purchasers. For stallion shares and breedings, there will be a commission as I will facilitate these transfers aided by my extensive familiarity with the stallions that will be offered and my numerous industry contacts. I am certain that sellers will find our commission rates to be the most reasonable in the industry. All listings will be priced listings, none will be auctions.”
