It has been reported that the legislation which would see ‘instant racing’ terminals installed in New Jersey racetracks calls for the wagering to ‘flow through’ Atlantic City casinos, which would then receive revenue.
A report on the subject by Press of Atlantic City states that the wagers would have to flow through Atlantic City casinos to ‘avoid challenges to the state’s constitution.’
The article has cited Senator Jim Whelan as saying that the AC casinos would see a portion of the revenue through the arranged relationships.
On Monday, December 9, a New Jersey Senate Committee released a bill intended on bringing instant racing to the state.
