Imagine finding no luck at the racino, yet realizing you are $1 million richer as you walk out the door.
That exact scenario recently happened to Gabriella Ruso as she was on her way out of Georgian Downs in Innisfil, Ont.
As a report by The Barrie Advance explains, Ruso was exiting the building when she stopped to check an Encore Lotto 6/49 ticket she had previously purchased elsewhere.
The ticket, which was bought at a Shell gas station on Barrie View Drive, was a $1 million winner.
“When I realized I had won $1 million, I started crying,” Ruso was quoted as saying.
