Saratoga Gaming and Raceway donated $100,000 to 21 charities at a local 'Make a Difference' charity event.
Each organization received between $2,500 and $10,000.
Jamie Hartman, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Saratoga Raceway, said of the donations, “Many local charities and organizations touch the lives of area residents on a daily basis. It is important that as part of the community we support the charities and organizations that come to the aid of those in need in the capital district.”
Saratoga Gaming and Raceway has made over $205,000 in donations this year and more than $1 million since 2004.
