The consensus choice as Canadian and U.S. Horse of the Year for 2022, Bulldog Hanover (Shadow Play - BJs Squall) won 14 of 16 starts this year and banked more than $1.86 million while earning his world champion status with a 1:45.4 performance at The Meadowlands this past July.
Bulldog Hanover and his connections are slated to appear this Saturday (Dec. 3) for a special retirement ceremony at Woodbine Mohawk Park before the pacer heads off to Seelster Farms in Lucan, Ont. for his second season of stallion duty.
