Guns An Roses was a repeat winner in the $10,000 Preferred 2 Pace on Sunday night at Flamboro Downs while his stablemate Wazzup Wazzup took the sub-feature for driver Jack Moiseyev and trainer Frank Colville.

Guns An Roses journeyed first over from third to win the Sunday feature for the second week in a row in 1:53.1. Stompin Tom Creek (BIlly Davis Jr.) finished nearly two lengths behind in second with early leader Bestinthebusiness (Scott Coulter) settling for third.

The win was the third in six starts this year for the five-year-old homebred Life Sign gelding, who is owned by Colville's daughter Joanne and grand-daughter Emma.

Guns An Roses paid $3.20 to win as the race favourite.

Two races earlier, favourite Wazzup Wazzup held off the pylon-skimming Nothingbutmach (Nick Steward) by a neck to win the $6,500 Preferred 3 in 1:54.2. Another homebred five-year-old son of Life Sign, Wazzup Wazzup is owned by High Stakes Inc. and Robby Wiratmo Wibawa of Mississauga, Ont.
