On Saturday, Nov. 11, Freehold Raceway will host a Veterans Day Pace, sponsored by Peter and Mary Grandich.
The race is in support of the charity, Vetwork.org, and will take place in race seven.
The morning line favourite is 3-1 Flashy Dude, to be driven by Vinny Ginsburg for Izzy Estrada. Arque Hanover, with trainer/driver Eric Abbatiello, is the second choice at 7-2 and Onto El Dorado, to be driven by Tyler Miller for Christopher Choate, is third choice at 4-1.
In addition to the charity race, Peter Grandich will also be hosting a meet and greet with former New York Rangers hockey star Nick Fotiu in the Renaissance dining room for the duration of the first seven races. First post is 12:30 p.m.
Freehold Raceway hosts live racing every Friday and Saturday starting 12:30 p.m.
