Vic Kirby began a five-win night steering Love Is Blind to a 2:00.3 victory, one of three winners he drove for owner/trainer Leigh Raymer. Later, the Pat Berry-driven Glenferrie Dreamer got only one call, the last one, when he closed with a rush for his third victory in his last four starts in the $20,000 Open Handicap Trot on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at Dover Downs.

Tough Mac, in his first start after winning three qualifiers, led through most of the mile in the Open before a convoy of rivals came on strongly approaching the finish line. Glenferrie Dreamer, among them, prevailed in 1:54.3 over the sloppy track. The seven-year-old Dream Vacation gelding is trained by Traci Berry for owners J Craparotta & P Berry Racing LLC.

Kicking off Kirby’s five-win night, Luv Is Blind captured one of two $20,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund Stakes eliminations for two-year-old trotting fillies. The other division was won by Willow Mill Anna and trainer/driver Gordon Barrett in 2:06.
