Dink Adoo made up a big deficit with a furious stretch rally to win the featured $24,000 Open Handicap trot on Tuesday night at Pocono Downs

Dink Adoo, an 11-year-old Inquirer gelding from the barn of trainer Tyler Raymer, got away fourth from post two while Winning Mister grabbed the lead and set blistering fractions. George Napolitano, Jr. got Dink Adoo rolling on the backstretch, and when the leader began to tire Dink Adoo came on strong en route to his one-length score over Winning Mister in 1:54.1. Florida Mac Attack grabbed the show dough.
It was the 70th lifetime victory for Dink Adoo, who won for the seventh time this season. The lion’s share of Tuesday’s purse boosted his lifetime earnings to $1,025,933.
