Play For Me zipped to the early lead from post five and never relinquished it, earning her second win in only her third lifetime start in Tuesday’s (Nov. 8) co-feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $10,900 filly & mare conditioned pace.
Challenged first over by Sportytino, Play For me responded to Aaron Johnston’s urging and prevailed in 1:55.3, a half-length better than Sportytino, with the pocket-sitting DT Petlot third.

In another of Tuesday’s $10,900 co-features, also a filly & mare conditioned pace, Meadows newcomer Lil Char found late racing room and powered to a 1:55.3 victory for owner/trainer/driver Brady Jenson. It was the eighth career win for the sophomore Iowa-bred daughter of In Over My Head-Major Philly. Cutting Humor was 3-3/4 lengths back in second, with Quivers Hanover third.
Elsewhere on Tuesday’s card, driver Justin Walters enjoyed his first career pari-mutuel win in his 28th purse start aboard Miss Lucy Ivy. Walters, 19, drove for his father, trainer Steve Walters, and owners J.R. Ryan and Collin Ryan.
Dave Palone collected five wins on the 13-race card.
