It was a near perfect Sunday afternoon at the office for trainer Stacey Lund, who sent out four starters at Summerside Raceway and went home with three victories

Run The Mark got the ball rolling for Lund thanks to his 2:04 score in the fourth race with Gary Chappell in tow. That same trainer/driver duo returned to victory lane with DS Katies Spirit two races later following her 2:00.3 triumph.
After a second-place finish with Miss Her in the seventh race, Lund and Chappell completed their respective hat tricks with Triage in Race 10. The mare enjoyed a pocket trip before taking command and drawing off to win in 2:00.4. Chappell tacked on another catch-driving win in Race 13 with the Kenneth Wilkie-trained Western Deadline to bring his daily win total to four.
The 2009 season has been a kind one to Lund, who has sent out 33 winners – a personal best in a single season for the Stratford, PE conditioner.
