James MacDonald, Canada’s representative for the 2025 World Driving Championship (WDC), has provided an update after the fourth leg was held on Friday, Nov. 7 at Addington Raceway in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Heats 11 through 15 of the 20 WDC races were contested on Friday evening’s race card. Despite multiple outside draws, MacDonald was able to maintain his lead with one victory and earned 32 points on the day. He continues the drive for his second WDC title. Saturday offers the WDC contingent a free morning in Christchurch before they travel south to the next stop along the tour: Invercargill. An early evening flight will land the group in Invercargill at dinner time when they will travel by bus from the airport to Bluff, the southernmost town in New Zealand for a group dinner.
