Etherium Party Tough For Flamboro Preferred Repeat

Published: November 5, 2026 11:53 pm EST

Etherium Party persisted off an uncovered overland trip to catch a loose leader and win his second straight $14,500 Horses and Geldings Preferred Pace at Flamboro Downs on Thursday, Nov. 5.

He left from the four-hole, then slid back into third as Logan Behold (Travis Cullen) pushed out to an early lead in a :26.2 quarter. Etherium Party departed the pylons when straightening towards the stands and made headway towards Logan Behold through the half in :55.1 but was left in arrears as the pacesetter darted down the backstretch to lead by 3-1/4 lengths at three-quarters in 1:23. Austin Sorrie hustled Etherium Party after Logan Behold into the last turn, and his charge chipped down that foe before forging ahead in the stretch to score by three-quarters of a length in 1:53. Instantaneous (Samuel Fillion) finished third.

Etherium Party is two-for-two since returning from a two-month absence in late October, pushing his seasonal stats to six wins from 30 starts. The five-year-old son of Stag Party-Black Widow Baby is now 17-for-62 lifetime with $145,651 in earnings. Jacob Roberts of Fergus, Ont. trains the gelding and shares ownership with Steve Adams of Rockwood, Ont. The win price was $3.
