Beau Jangles
If Beau Jangles is the USHOTY, it will be the first time in 46 years that a 2YOPC has done so. Niatross won the award back in 1979. The only other 2YOPC to be named HOTY was Bret Hanover in 1964. Both horses won the award again at age 3, and Bret Hanover won it a 3rd time in 1966, at age 4.
