Lets Wait And See and Don McWhite were inseparable at the wire in the featured $11,500 Preferred 2 Pace on Sunday night (November 5) at Flamboro Downs ending up in a dead heat win.
The close finish also involved Reel, a head back in third, and 9-5 favourite Rise Up Now, who held a commanding lead through fractions of :26.4, :54.2 and 1:23.1 before being collared in the four-across finish. The winning time was 1:54.2 over the 'good' track.
Colin Kelly drove Lets Wait And See ($11.10) for trainer Scott Friend and owner Parry Hart while J Harris was aboard Don McWhite ($9.40) for trainer Corey Johnson and partner Sergis Racing Stable.
Thorn In Your Side ($10) and driver Travis Henry led wire-to-wire to win the $8,500 Preferred 3 in 1:54 flat by one and a half lengths over Lyonssomewhere. The Louis Eftimiadis trainee is owned by High Stakes Stable.
