The full-sister to Bettors Wish, harness racing's richest Standardbred this season, fetched the highest price at the 2019 Midwest Mixed Sale held on Friday (November 29) at the Michiana Event Center in Shipshewana, Indiana.
Rainbowinthedark, a four-year-old daughter of Bettors Delight - Lifetime Star, was consigned to the sale in foal to Stay Hungry. John Barnard of Miami, Florida purchased Rainbowinthedark for $130,000.
Ontario Sires Stakes graduate Skippin By also fetched a six-figure price tag. The daughter of Shadow Play - Southern Magnolia sold in foal to Downbytheseaside, and the hammer fell at $100,000. Bruce Brinkerhoff of Hilliard, Ohio signed the sales slip.
