Dr. Bridgette Jablonsky and Dana Parham are proud to announce the launch of their new partnership, Dr. J Stallion Management.
Dr. Jablonsky (commonly known as Dr. J) is well known through her 26-year stint at Hanover Shoe Farms first as Farm Manager and then Executive Vice President. Dana is one of the most prominent owners in the harness racing industry, owning racehorses under the monikers of Odds On Racing, Bottom Line Racing and Best Bet Stables in addition to owning over 125 young, well-bred broodmares. Dr. J Stallion Management brings Dr. J’s extensive knowledge, industry contacts, tireless work ethic and dedication to the syndication and management of stallions. The initial stallion station is slated for Ohio (at Winterwood Farms) with plans to expand to Pennsylvania and New Jersey in the near future.
The Somebeachsomewhere son Carbine and Molotov Cocktail, a son of Chapter Seven, are the first two stallions signed up to be managed by Dr. J Stallion Management.
Carbine (p,4,1:47.4, $314,956, pictured above) represents one of the very last sons of the legendary sire of sires, Somebeachsomewhere, to enter stud. Electrifyingly fast and exceedingly handsome, Carbine is thought to have paced one of the fastest — if not the fastest — back halves ever in Meadowlands history in :51.3. Winner of two legs of the Graduate series, Carbine has defeated the likes of Charlie May, Linedrive Hanover and Hellabalou. Out of the prolific Shot Togo Blue Chip, Carbine is a brother to the pair of successful stallions Heston Blue Chip and Sunfire Blue Chip. Carbine will stand for a service fee of $2,500.
Molotov Cocktail (3,1:52.2, $428,902) won five of seven starts at the age of two including the NYSS final for two-year-old trotting colts at Yonkers Raceway in 1:56.2 defeating eventual Hambletonian winner Cool Papa Bell. Despite a premature end to his three-year-old season due to injury, Molotov Cocktail won the Earl Beal consolation in 1:52.4f defeating King Of The North and was second in the NYSS final to Cool Papa Bell. A son of Chapter Seven, who already has siring sons like the incomparable Walner and the leading sire by average at the 2023 Lexington Selected Sale, Gimpanzee, Molotov Cocktail brings precocious two-year-old speed and half-mile track proclivity to the state of Ohio. Molotov Cocktail will stand for a service fee of $3,000.
Dr. J Stallion Management will be hosting an Open House and Stallion Showcase at Winterwood Farm in Bellville, Oh. on Nov. 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All industry members are invited to this special event which will star the stallions Carbine and Molotov Cocktail and co-star Carbine’s trainer, Tony Alagna, Molotov Cocktail’s trainer Linda Toscano and Dr. J. Food and drink will be served and there will be cash drawings. Please join us for a fun day of talking horses and comradery.
If you have a stallion ready to enter stud and would like to take advantage of Dr. J’s personalized attention to each stallion while enabling your stallion to have access to Dana’s broodmares, one of the largest and best collection of broodmares anybody has to offer, please contact Dr. Jablonsky at (717) 578-7395 or [email protected]. More information can be found on the website drjstallionmanagement.com.
For those attending the Standardbred Horse Sale in Harrisburg next week, Dr. J Stallion Management will occupy a booth in the Main Hall on Thursday and Friday. Please stop by and pick up flyers on Carbine, Molotov Cocktail and the open house, chat with Dr. J and Dana about their stallions and future opportunities and help yourself to some delicious treats.
