Race-favourite Mar Nien A took control early and maintained command through the wire to take the $20,000 Open Pace at Saratoga Casino Hotel on Saturday, Nov. 3.
Driver Jay Randall launched the Amanda Kelley-trained son of Rock N Roll Heaven to the lead and then never faced an anxious moment. The Australian invader cruised to a 1:52.3 victory - his fourth win in six starts since moving to the Kelley stable.
JK Panache finished second to the big favourite while longshot Itsonlyrocknroll A earned third.
