Infinite Justice showed little mercy to the six rivals he squared off with in Sunday’s featured $9,500 Preferred Pace at Windsor Raceway, and that was music to the ears of owner Maria Kallen of Bloomfield, Michigan
.
With Eric Carlson at the helm, Infinite Justice motored to the lead from post seven and had the field lined up behind him as he stepped past the quarter pole a 29-second clip. He stepped the next panel in 29 seconds, as well, and at that point it was all over.
Carlson cranked up the speed a bit in the third quarter with the Mike Watson trainee, who buzzed by that marker in 1:26.3. He turned on the afterburners over the final two furlongs – sprinting home in :28.1 to win by a big margin in a sharp clocking of 1:54.4. Race favourite Action Figure was a distant second and Game Zac was third.
The victory was the 10th of the season for the 47-time winner, who is quickly closing in on $100,000 in earnings for the year. The veteran has banked more than $322,000 in his career.
