Following the resounding success of last year's event in Prince Edward Island celebrating the best in harness racing, Standardbred Canada (SC) will host the 36th annual O’Brien Awards Gala on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, at the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale in Mississauga, Ont., with tickets now available for purchase.
This exclusive black-tie gala promises an evening filled with glamour and excitement, celebrating the top performers from the 2024 harness racing season.

Theme: A Night in Black and White
Attire: Black-tie event
Cocktail Reception: The evening begins with a cocktail reception, where guests can have their photo taken, enjoy the red carpet experience, and mingle with nominees and fellow attendees.
Dinner: A delectable four-course dinner will be served.
Awards Presentation: After dinner, the O’Brien Awards will honour the year's achievements in harness racing.
After-Party: The celebration continues with an after-party, featuring a live band and late-night food stations.
