Driver Travis Henry and trainer Carmen Auciello completed a three-win night at Flamboro Downs by sweeping the featured Preferred events on Sunday (November 27) with Thorn In Your Side and Sportsmanship.

The duo teamed up to win the opener with the streaking sophomore pacer Futomaki ($6.20), owned by Robert Burgess, before scoring back-to-back victories later on the card in the Preferreds.

Thorn In Your Side ($2.90) went wire-to-wire in the $11,000 Preferred 2, leading through panels of :27.2, :56 and 1:24.1 en route to the five and three-quarter length victory in 1:53.3. The six-year-old Mach Three gelding is owned by High Stakes Stable Inc.

In the $7,500 Preferred 3, Sportsmanship ($4.40) shot through the passing lane off a pocket trip to defeat pacesetter Senior Market by half a length, with first-over challenger Half A Billion finishing third. The Auciello Stables is part-owner on the four-year-old Sportswriter gelding, who won his Flamboro debut in 1:55.2, with Stephen Klunowski.
