Lets Wait And See led all the way to win the $11,500 Preferred 2 Handicap Pace featured on Sunday night's harness racing program at Flamboro Downs.
Driven by Colin Kelly, Lets Wait And See led the field through fractions of :27.2, :56.3 and 1:25.2 and turned back first-over challenger Boomboom Ballykeel en route to the 1:54.2 victory. Reel and Buckeroo followed in second and third, respectively.
Lets Wait And See paid $6.30 to win as the 2-1 second choice to Rockin Finish, who had prevailed by half a length last week but trailed the seven-horse field tonight.
Scott Friend trains the six-year-old Shadow Play-Remember The Magic gelding, who has won nine of his 37 starts this year, for owner Perry Hart of Kitchener, Ont.
Kelly went right back out after the feature win to take the $8,500 Preferred 3 in rein to Don Mcwhite ($4.30) for owners Corey Johnson and Sergis Racing Stable LLC. The Johnson trainee went first-up and prevailed by half a length over inside closer Strato Boy in 1:56 flat.
Both Lets Wait And See and Don McWhite previously shared the spotlight in a Preferred 2 dead-heat earlier this month.
The $9,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred 3 Handicap was won by first-time Flamboro Downs and Dean Nixon starter Thewayulooktonight ($3.10) in 1:56 flat with Bob McClure in the bike for owner Klein Racing Stables LLC.
