According to a report, the British Horseracing Authority is on the verge of putting thousands of potential 'undesirables' under the microscope as part of its recently announced 'fit and proper' guidelines for industry participants

An article by thesun.co.uk quotes Oliver Codrington, head of compliance and licensing for the British Horseracing Authority, as saying, "the idea is to stop certain individuals before they get through the front door."
The report states that the BHA currently has a list of 5,000 potential 'undesirables' in which it is looking to examine closely.
