According to a report by WBOC News, Dover Downs Hotel and Casino CEO Edward Sutor has said that the introduction of sports wagering in the state has led to an
increase in horse racing handle.
The article cites the acting secretary of finance, Tom Cook, as saying that as of October, the state has made nearly $500,000 from sports betting since the start of the NFL season.
