Victors Vicky remained unbeaten in five starts this meet stepping up to win the $26,000 Open trot at Dover Downs on Wednesday. The sport's leading driver this year for wins, Tony Morgan, scored five victories while meet leader Corey Callahan added three.

In her first visit to the feature trot ranks, Victors Vicky handled the jump in class easily for her 10th win of the year for Fabulous Farms extending the Richard Johnson-conditioned daughter of Valley Victor-Deaconess Hanover's seasonal bankroll to $145,350.

While Rose Run Flash (Mike Cole) and LTs Best (Vince Copeland) battled for the lead at the three-quarters, Corey Callahan waited patiently until the final turn before moving Victors Vicky three wide and the pair vaulted into the lead and won convincingly in 1:56.2. Joey The Jet JT (Tony Morgan) was enjoying a trip third behind the battling pair, but could not get to the passing lane soon enough rallying to finish second. Rose Run Flash was a brave third. The win was the third for driver Callahan.

For the second time in two nights, the photo finish camera could not separate two horses on the finish line. In the $18,000 trot, J&E Stable's Go Nano Go (Balanced Image-Cool Reins), with Eddie Davis Jr., cut out the mile only to share first place with fast finishing Safari Heat (Striking Sahbra-Sun Victory), driven by Vic Kirby for Tom and Gregg Morris, in a 1:57.1 deadheat for win. Veteran Breeze Hill Will (Morgan) came on strongly in the stretch to finish third. It was the second time in little more than a month - on Oct. 22 at Harrington - that Go Nano Go was involved in a winning deadheat.

Chloes Silver Star made her first appearance at the track a winning one as Tony Morgan drove the Intrepid Seelster-Silver Chloe mare to a 1:55.1 win in an $11,500 Fillies and Mare pace for three, four and five-year-olds. Recently purchased by Gar Evans and Foulk Stables, the Ontario-bred four-year-old held off Hot Lips (Copeland), second, and third-place Angels And Me (David Hill) for the score. The win was the fourth of five for Morgan.
