Rideau Carleton Raceway's leading trainer John MacMillan swept the top two spots in the co-featured $6,500 Winners Over Pace on Sunday night with Web Cam and Anderlecht.
Web Cam ($6.60) earned his second consecutive victory in the Winners Over class with Gord Brown in the sulky. The seven-year-old son of Astreos led the field through fractions of :27.1, :57.3 and 1:25.3 en route to the 1:54.3 triumph with favourite Anderlecht and Rheo Filion edging out pocket-sitter Histoire Eternelle for second-place one and a half lengths behind. Web Cam has won six of his last 11 starts at Rideau for MacMillan and Holland Racing Stable.
Star Ruffnready ($9.20) and Filion won the matching Winners Over Trot in 1:57.3 for trainer James Lamacchia and owners Pepiniere Nicky Inc. and Lewis Murphy. The nine-year-old son of Armbro Winner held off favourite Decret Justiciale by three-quarters of a length while Ghirardelli Lindy finished back in third.
