The wins came in bunches at Truro Raceway on Sunday afternoon for teamster Todd Trites, who made five trips to victory lane on the 13-race card
.
Trites got things rolling with a score in Race 2 behind All Natural Power (2:06.2) before putting together a very impressive string of wins later on the card.
He reeled off four consecutive scores starting in Race 7 with Allamerican Baller (2:02.4). He then clicked with Final Drop (2:03.3), Sealcrest Lakota (2:02.3) and Mischievous Lad (1:59.3) in succession to push his daily win total to five.
The productive day at the office lifted Trites’ yearly win total to 144 while his lifetime total climbed to 1,530.
