Pacing stalwart Foiled Again took on five foes in Sunday’s $32,000 Open Handicap Pace at Harrah’s Chester, and he managed to deliver on his pari-mutuel promise as the 1-5 favourite

With Yannick Gingras at the helm, the six-year-old son of Dragon Again parked past the quarter pole in a :27-second clip before rushing to the lead. Once in command of the pace, he rolled the field through middle splits of :56.1 and 1:24 before firing home in :26.2 en route to a 1:50.2 score. Runner-up Vlos was three-quarters of a length in arrears, with Warning Zone taking home the show dough.

Ron Burke trains Foiled Again races for the partnership of the Burke Racing Stable LLC, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and JJK Stables. Recently becoming a member of the $2 million club, Foiled Again is now a 10-time winner this season and a 44-time winner to date.
