$60,000 Blooded Horse Sale Topper

Trotters grabbed the spotlight at the 62nd Fall Speed Sale.

Walnut Hall Ltd. brought a premier consignment of them, topping the venue with the stakes winning two year old Si Bon Hall. The striking black daughter of Broadway Hall was purchased by Linemaster Services LLC of Ohio for $60,000.

The consignment also included a pair of royally bred Tom Ridge two year olds, Lady Jane Hall, a half sister to five in 2:00 for $20,000 and Advantage Hall out of the great Amour Angus for $17,000.

Zippen Chip, a solid conditioned trotter at Indiana Downs brought $24,000 for consignor Charles Guiler. The stunning four year old chestnut gelding was purchased by Rossie Smith of New York. Jim Nickerson, also of New York, grabbed the handsome two year old Jailhouse Scorpion for $25,000. The Ohio Sires placed trotting gelding was consigned by Peggy Carter as agent. Wayne Givens took the competitive Indiana three year old pacer Joneedstogo back to Delaware for $24,000.

Armbro Carroll from the Tom Crouch dispersal topped the broodmare category at $20,000. In foal to Yankee Glide the daughter of Malabar Man goes to Sweden. The beautiful Angus Hall yearling colt I Be Long Gone was purchased from the Peninsula Farm consignment for $10,500 by Merrit Dokey.
