Driver Brian Sears swept the co-featured Open events as part of a big six-win night at the office on Friday at Yonkers Raceway

Bling (Sears) found the pocket payoff Friday night, winning Yonkers' $38,000 Filly and Mare Open Handicap Pace.
Leaving from post position No. 3, she was in play early. Bling made the first lead before giving in to 19-10 favourite Breakheart Pass (Yannick Gingras) before a :26.4 opening quarter-mile. That one rated a :57.1 half and 1:26.1 three-quarters, taking only mild heat from a first-up Ramona Disomma (Jason Bartlett).
All the while, Breakheart Pass owned a length-and-a-half lead into the lane. She maintained her advantage at the 1:54.2 mile marker, but was about to give way. Bling went in and by, winning by a half-length and getting the mile-and-one-sixteenth in 2:01.2.
Idol (Jim Hardy)--as the 68-1 rank outsider--Billmar Scooter (Tyler Buter) and Hulas Z Tam (Pat Lachance) grabbed the pre-holiday leftovers.
For Bling, a five-year-old daughter of Scoot Outa Reach owned by Baron Racing and trained by Mark Kesmodel, she returned $10.20 (third choice) for her sixth win in 30 seasonal starts. The exacta paid $34.20, with the triple returning $437.
Friday night's $38,000 Open Handicap Trot was a sharp, two-move effort by the just-above-even-money choice Fools Revenue (Sears).
Leaving from post No. 5, Fools Revenue took a seat third behind inside assignees Son Of Nordic (Eric Goodell) and Trottin Troy (Brent Holland). Not content at that locale, he made the lead not long after a :28.3 opening quarter. From there, it was a :58.2 half before Hurrikanebiggeorge (Dan Dube) moved from fifth.
The pair of people's preferences were moving in tandem in and out of the 1:27.4 three-quarters, before "Biggeorge" grudgingly gave way. That left Fools Revenue with a length-and-a-half advantage in and out of the final turn. He found the mile in 1:56.3 and the added distance in 2:03.4. Son Of Nordic was second--beaten a length-and-a-quarter--with Hurrikanebiggeorge holding third. Trottin Troy and Pio Power (Gingras) came away with the remainder.
For Fools Revenue, a five-year-old Revenue S gelding trained by Brett Bittle for co-owners Robert (also a co-breeder), Douglas and James Allen, he returned $4.10 for his fifth win in 19 '11 tries. The exacta paid $20. The triple returned $42.60 and the superfecta paid $268.50.
