Robin Banks ($3.60) scored as the odds-on favourite in the $18,000 Autumn Leaves Series final on Wednesday (Nov. 18) at MGM Northfield Park.
Robin Banks and driver Kurt Sugg started from post 6 and led their competition through fractions of :28.3, :58.2, 1:27.1 and 1:56.1. There was never really an anxious moment for the winner, who bested Tootie (Jason Thompson) by 1-1/4 lengths. Electric Ridge (Aaron Merriman) finished third.
Brad Ater of Williamsport, Ohio, owns the sophomore daughter of Break The Bank K and Arelia. Edward Miller trains the seven-time winner who bolstered her bankroll to $95,889 with her fifth seasonal victory.
