Woodbine's leading driver Doug McNair came into Friday night's harness racing program the same way he left it: a winner.
McNair bookended the 10-race card with wins aboard the Duane Marfisi-trained trotter So Not Cool ($7.10) and pacing Whistys Paradise ($5.10) for the Scott Friend stable.
The resident of Guelph, Ont. tops the WEG Circuit driver standings with 261 victories on the year over Louis-Philippe Roy (234), who also made a winner's circle appearance on Friday's program. Trevor Henry ranks third with 215 wins after a driving double of his own.
McNair also leads all drivers in the nation for earnings, having driven horses to more than $5.5 million in winnings on Canadian soil.
