The second leg of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund Two-Year-Old Filly went postward Monday evening at Dover Downs, with Cicadas Song and Miss Baltimore posting wins in their respective assignments.

After being scratched from last week’s prelim, Cicadas Song continues her winning ways collecting her sixth victory in seven career races romping to a 2:01.2 victory over Princess Politics (Wayne Long) and Unshakeable Peace (Eddie Dennis). Carlo Poliseno trains and drives the Dusty Winner-Koala Kat filly for owner Jane Dunavant.

Last month, after sweeping her Virginia stakes and previous DSBF prelims, she broke stride early as favourite in the $100,000 Harrington Final, her only loss. The filly has earned $60,845 in purses.

Miss Baltimore and Tony Morgan recorded her second straight DSBF prelim win notching a 2:03 triumph in the second prelim. Don Marine owns the Master Lavec-Country Inn filly trained by Kyle Moore. Triple Bottom Line (Jeff Fout) closed strong but broke stride nearing the finish line and finished second. Devlin (Poliseno) finished third.

The top eight point-getters after the two prelims will race in the $100,000 DSBF Final.
