Joycelyn Engle is a feature film producer, writer and director. She is also a published author with in-depth magazine articles on famous Americans, such as, Elvis Presley, Howard Hughes and Jon Voight. Engle has had magazines and newspaper stories written about her and her work, including The New York Daily News, and she was interviewed on TV by Regis Philbin, Mike Douglas and Joe Franklin. She is a top talent manager and has produced and directed a number of Off-Broadway plays. She founded The Joycelyn Engle School of Drama and Speech, and she taught acting improvisation, speech and image to US Senators, actors, lawyers and many others. She has written several screenplays. Engle wrote and recorded two hit CDs on speech, acting and image, and her CD, "Speak & Act for Success with Joycelyn Engle" has been a best seller at The Drama Book Shop in New York for over 10 years.
Engle started out as a model and actress in New York over 30 years ago, and she has the title "Countess" from her husband's family; although she never uses it socially. Some of the biggest names in Hollywood are included on her best friend list along with Manhattan socialites and a few in the DC world of politics.
Her most recent feature film is "Shannon's Rainbow", a harness racing-themed film with an award-winning cast starring, Julianne Michelle, Claire Forlani, Eric Roberts, Daryl Hannah, Michael Madsen, Jason Gedrick, Lou Gossett, Jr, Steve Guttenberg, Charles Durning, Krista Allen and more.
