It has been announced that a ‘summit’ has been scheduled for members of the horse racing industry to have a frank discussion with members of a racing commission.
The Indiana Horse Racing Commission has announced details regarding the upcoming Indiana Horse Racing Industry Summit.
The summit will be held on Friday, November 20 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Farm Bureau Building at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana.
This open-invitation public meeting will give all Indiana horse racing participants an opportunity to share their thoughts and suggestions with members of the IHRC.
“We want this experience to be a positive exchange of ideas and suggestions,” noted the commission’s chairman, Thomas Weatherwax. “It is our hope that our racing industry participants will take advantage of this opportunity and make plans to attend.”
During the first-ever summit, the commission will be seeking input from industry participants along with suggestions on how to implement any changes or ideas they may offer.
Additional information regarding the summit can be found on the commission’s website (in.gov/hrc).
