For All We Know captured the $2,250 Open Mares Pace on Sunday in a sparkling 1:58.1 at Red Shores at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Gary Chappell engineered the winning trip placing the Jackie Matheson-trained mare in the first over flow and then overpowered fraction-setter Willow Warrior in the lane to record his third victory of the afternoon. For All We Know’s stablemate, General Luckypercy, was third. For All We Know is owned by Bruce Wood.

The $2,000 back-up class went to The Big Bite and driver Mike Stevenson in a win photo over Rash B Havior and Oh To Be Me. The Big Bite stopped the timer in 2:00 for owners Jack Arsenault, Donna McIver, Edward Blaisdell and Deborah Wilson. The pacer is trained by Thane Arsenault.

Zip The Lip landed back in the winner’s circle taking the $1,850 Open Trot for driver Brian MacPhee in 2:02.4. MacPhee made a three-high move down the backstretch at the three-quarters to join the leaders and then drove off for his 11th victory of 2014 for trainer Don Sweet and his co-owner Orville Willis. Diamond Mine was the runner-up with Caliban Hanover finding racing room in the stretch to finish third.

Vaughn Doyle, Marc Campbell and Corey MacPherson had driving doubles with trainers Thane Arsenault, Darren Trainor and Jackie Matheson posting two winners each for their stables.
