Canada's Horse of the Year for 2020, millionaire pacer Century Farroh has been retired and will stand at stud in 2022.

In a press release issued on Monday (Nov. 15) Seelster Farms officially welcomed the Breeders Crown winner to the farm's 2022 stallion line-up.

Canadian born and bred by Century Spring Farms of Gorrie, Ont., the Mach Three – Beachy Girl horse was a multiple stakes winner at two including the OSS Grassroots elim and final in 1:53s, but it wasn’t until his three-year-old season that Century Farroh really began to shine.

At three, he won the Somebeachsomewhere, the North America Cup Consolation, and the Simcoe at Woodbine Mohawk Park, along with the Jennas Beach Boy at Hoosier Park, all the while winning five consecutive OSS Gold legs at home at Mohawk and Georgian Downs.

Century Farroh handled the jump to aged competition with ease placing in nearly all open competition events including the Graduate, the William Haughton, the Sam McKee, the Canadian Pacing Derby, Dayton Pacing Derby, and winning the Dan Patch at Hoosier Park; while finally topping off his four-year-old season with a win in the Breeders Crown Final en route to Horse of the Year honours.

Winning consecutive O’Brien Awards as three-year-old pacing colt and aged pacer of the year; the Ian Moore-trainee paced several “bridesmaid” miles at four in 1:47.3 and 1:47.4 and finishes his racing career with more than $1.5 million.
