British Columbia Harness Racing Executive Director Carla Robin has commented on BC Breeders Classic Day, the richest day of Standardbred racing in the province, which was contested this past Saturday (November 11) at Fraser Downs in Surrey.
“It was really exciting,” Robin told Samantha Anderson of the Peace Arch News. “It’s the showcase of the year for our young horses, two to three years old, and the homestretch was absolutely packed.”
Four $100,000 finals went postward during the card, and Ron Bakardi, Scardy Cat, Yoga Pants and Millbanks Bart reigned supreme in their respective tilts. To read a full recap of the finals, click here.
“Our champions were just amazing young horses,” Robin said.
