After a disappointing effort in last month’s Breeders Crown at Woodbine, Swan For All quickly regained his mojo at Dover Downs for trainer Erv Miller

.

The three-year-old son of Andover Hall-Swan Lake throttled the rivals he faced in last Sunday’s $42,257 Matron Stake elimination, and earlier this evening he barely broke a sweat en route to winning the $253,537 Matron Stake final for driver David Miller in 1:55.1.

The colt, who was in the headlines earlier this week when it was announced he’d be joining the stallion roster at Kentuckiana Farms, easily disposed of the seven foes he squared off with in his Sunday assignment.

Miller got away second with Swan For All while Howthehaloareyou rolled the field to the quarter pole in :27.4. With the first turn out of the way, Swan For All tipped off the rail and rushed to the top as the field passed the grandstand for the first time. With panels of :57.3 and 1:26.1 to work with, Swan For All kicked home in 29 seconds to win by a comfortable margin over a hard-closing Calchips Brute and Hot Shot Blue Chip.

The partnership of John Carver, Mystical Marker Farms LLC and Diamond Creek Farm LLC watched the trotter assemble a 4-1-0 record in six start this season after putting up a 4-1-0 boxscore in five starts as a rookie. The lion’s share of the $253,537 purse hiked his overall purse haul to $309,987.
